HP launches world's first 27-inch all-in-one workstation in India


New Delhi: HP has launched what it claims to be the world's first 27-inch all-in-one workstation - Z1 - in India. The device has been priced at Rs 99,990.
It has a 27-inch IPS LED diagonal display. The HP Z1 allows users to swap out parts and make upgrades without any tools required. Users can add a hard drive, upgrade memory or access the graphics card by snapping open the chassis to swap out parts.
The workstation is powered by Intel Xeon processors and features NVIDIA Quadro graphics. It is touted to have support for more than 1 billion colours.

Customers an actually choose from the quad-core Intel Xeon processor or 2nd generation Intel core processors to cuit their specific requirements.
The workstation comes pre-installed with HP remote graphics software that let you have remote desktop access to 2D, 3D, video and media-rich applications.

There are also different options for storage: 7.2K and 10K SATA, SSD, optional RAID configurations, removable drives, a multiformat media card reader and optical drives including a slot-load Blu-ray Writer.
The HP Z1 is built for resource-intensive professions such as computer-aided design, digital media and entertainment professionals.
Besides, expanding its line of HP Z workstations, the company has introduced three new workstations - the Z420, Z620 and Z820 - in India.
