Live Updates: Kallis wicket gives RR hope

Kolkata Knight Riders innings:
13th over: 79 for 2. It has been now 23 balls before the last boundary was hit. Botha gives just five from his last over as he keeps the batsmen in the middle down to just ones or twos. He finishes with figures of 1 for 22 from his four.
12th over: 74 for 2. Things are getting tight now as Brad Hogg bowls another brilliant over. Gives away just for runs to put pressure on the batting side. This is going down the wire.
11th over: 70 for 2. Johan Botha is back into the attack and picks up Kallis. This is a big wicket for the Rajasthan. Kallis tries to slog sweep, misses the ball completely and is been adjudged LBW. Manoj Tiwary, right handed bat, comes to the crease.

Kallis lbw b Johan Botha 31(38)
10th over: 68 for 1. Easy pickings for KKR at the moment. They are picking up a boundary in every over. This time Kallis opens the face of the bat and steers it just behind point for a four and the duo picks up three singles from the rest five deliveries.
9th over: 61 for 1. Bisla is looking in a fine form as he picks up another boundary off Siddharth Trivedi. It was a slow bouncer which Bisla connects well and pulls it away for four. KKR are in control of the things at the moment.
8th over: 52 for 1. Brad Hogg, left-arm chinaman, comes into the attack and the veteran bowls a decent over apart from the last ball that went for four byes.
7th over: 45 for 1. Bisla is looking dangerous here as he dances down the track and hits Chavan for four over the cover and then the duo rotates the strike well throughout the over to make 9 from it.
6th over: 36 for 1. Kallis takes the pressure off as he hits Amit Singh first ball for a four at long off and then picks up a single. On the other hand, Bisla also cuts loose hitting him for a four between the cover and point. An excellent over for the KKR.
5th over: 26 for 1. Ankeet Chavan, comes into the attack for Rajasthan and bowls a tight first over. Manvinder Bisla comes in the crease for KKR after the fall of skipper Gambhir.
4th over: 22 for 1. Another good over by Amit Singh as the fast bowler keeps the batsmen down to just four from the over and forces a run out of the last ball. This is brilliant piece of work by the Dravid who hits the stumps direct.
Gambhir run out (Dravid) 11(11)
3rd over: 18 for 0. It's easy pickings for Kallis this time. Botha bowls a loose first ball which is brilliantly swept by his fellow country-mate. However the bowlers comes back strong with four dots and a single from rest five deliveries.
2nd over: 13 for 0. Amit Singh shares the new ball and he is right on the money as he keeps it tight. He keeps the batsmen down to just three singles.
1st over: 10 for 0. Kallis and Gambhir are at the crease for Kolkata Knight Riders. Johan Botha starts the proceedings for Rajasthan Royals and bowls an expensive over. Gambhir hits him for two boundaries, one a lovely chip shot over the cover and the other one a gentle cut between past point for a boundary.
Rajasthan Royals Innings:
20th over: 131 for 5. Excellent bowling by Kolkata Knight Riders as Rajasthan Royal manages only 131/5 from the quota of their overs. Last over from Balaji costs 15 runs that includes a boundary over midwicket by Johan Botha and a huge huge six by Brad Hodge over the deep midwicket boundary. It is a massive blow.
19th over: 116 for 5. Sunil Narine is once again right on the money as he picks up Shah off the first ball with a 'doosra'. Shah dances down the track and completely misses and was stumped by Bisla. Just three from the over and a wicket.
Owais Shah st Bisla b Narine 31(33)
18th over: 113 for 4. Lakshmipathy Balaji is back into the attack and mixes the slower deliveries extremely well. Shah tries to hit him out of the park but brilliant slower balls is just too good for him. Just four runs from the over.
17th over: 109 for 4. Shah picks up seven from the first three balls of Shakib's over that includes a smashing boundary at long on but left-arm picks up key wicket of Goswami off the fourth ball of the over. Brad Hodge, right handed bat, comes to the crease.
Goswami c Balaji b Shakib Al Hasan 24(22)
16th over: 101 for 3. Finally Goswami cuts loose and hits the first ball of Rajat Bhatia's over for a huge six over deep midwicket boundary and follows it up with a two and a single. Meanwhile, Shah at the other end also picks up boundary over through backward square leg region. Good over from Rajasthan's point of view.
15th over: 85 for 3. Superb stuff by Kolkata spinners. Sunil Narine bowls another brilliant over. He is just not giving any room to the batsmen and is not giving anything more than singles.
14th over: 80 for 3. Gautam Gambhir hands the ball to Rajat Bhatia and the medium pacer sticks to the basics and bowls a good line and length and gives away just three runs from this over.
13th over: 77 for 3. Sunil Narine comes back into the attack and bowls a tight over. Gives just for runs and keeps the batsmen down to just singles. Not looking good for Rajasthan at the moment.
12th over: 73 for 3. Finally a big over for Rajasthan Royals. Goswami hits the first ball of Yusuf Pathan's over for four between midwicket and long on boundary and follows it up with a single and Shah at the other hand plays a lovely shot for four through the long on boundary.
11th over: 62 for 3. Spinners are not allowing Rajasthan batsmen to settle. Shakib Al Hasan bowls another tight over and keeps the batsmen down to just four singles from his third over.
10th over: 58 for 3. Otherwise a good over by Yusuf Pathan apart from five wides down the leg side. Owais Shah and Shreevats Goswami are in the middle for Rajasthan Royals.
9th over: 51 for 3. This is sensational stuff by Shakib Al Hasan. What a start to IPL this season fro him. He gets a big one Rahul Dravid. Rajasthan are crumbling now. Dravid gives himself room and looks to drive over the cover but only manages to find Manoj Tiwary.
Dravid c Manoj Tiwary b Shakib Al Hasan 28(27)
8th over: 48 for 2. This is suicidal stuff by Ashok Menaria. After struggling to pick up single from the three deliveries, he goes for a quick run and runs himself out after a direct hit by Yusuf Pathan.
Menaria run out (Yusuf Pathan) 1(6)
7th over: 47 for 1. Shakib Al Hasan comes into the attack and picks up Ajinkya Rahane off his first ball. A much needed breakthrough for Kolkata. He bowls a brilliant first over giving away just two runs and picking up a wicket.
Rahane c Bisla b Shakib Al Hasan 19(16)
6th over: 45 for 0. Rahul Dravid joins the party this time. After a dot ball, Dravid takes the charge and blast Kallis for four down the track and then dispatches the fifth ball between the umpire and the non-striker for another boundary. Another good over for Rajasthan.
5th over: 33 for 0. Sunil Narine comes into the attack and finally a ten-run over for the batting side. Rahane is looking in a fine form as he hits him for two back-to-back boundaries. First one was a classy off drive between the mid off and extra cover that he follows it with a slog sweep for four.
4th over: 23 for 0. It's a quiet start by the openers, but are able to pick up the odd boundary in every over to take the pressure off. Kallis was right on the money throughout the over apart from the fourth ball that Dravid nicely pulls away for four. It's a short delivery Dravid dispatches it very well.
3rd over: 16 for 0. After bowling three good deliveries for just one run, Dravid takes the pressure off with a lovely chip shot for four over the mid wicket area, but plays the final two deliveries for no runs.
2nd over: 11 for 0. Jacques Kallis share the new ball and Ajinkya Rahane is off the mark with a classy boundary between the mid off and extra cover and follows it up with a single. Kallis gives away seven runs from his first over.
1st over: 4 for 0. Lakshmipathy Balaji starts the proceedings for Kolkata Knight Riders. Hint of swing for the pacer. After bowling a good first delivery, Balaji bowls a loose second ball which is punished by Rahul Dravid as he cuts it for a boundary. Rest of the over was pretty neat and tidy. Dravid and young Ajinkya Rahane are in the middle for Rajasthan Royals.
7:30 p.m. Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid wins the toss and elects to bat in the match 15th of the Indian Premier League season five against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Both the teams have made one change as Kolkata have brought in Sunil Narine in place of Brett Lee. On the other hand Kevon Cooper seems to have picked up an injury and Brad Hodge comes into replace him.
