20th over: Rohit Sharma wins it for Mumbai off a last-ball six.
19th over: Mumbai Indians 121 for 5. Mumbai need 18 runs off six balls now with five wickets in hand. Steyn is making the difference. He has finished up with 3 for 12 with the wicket of Dinesh Karthik in this over.

18th over: Mumbai 116 for 4. Huge over for Mumbai, 14 runs off this one bowled by Mishra. Rohit has sent the leggie on a leather hunt with two towering sixes, which has brought Mumbai closer now. 23 required off 12 balls now.
17th over: Mumbai 102 for 4. Christian has got the prized wicket of Pollard, who has been caught at deep mid-off. This has put the match in balance now, with Mumbai needing 37 off 18 balls.

16th over: Mumbai 94 for 3. This is turning out to be Pollard vs Deccan now. He has clearly singled out who to hit and who not. This time launches himself into Amit Mishra, hitting him over long-off for his third six of this innings so far.
15th over: Mumbai 85 for 3. Sensing Mumbai working their way back into the match, Sangakkara brings his spearhead Steyn back. But Mumbai are up to it and both Pollard and Rohit choose not to play any flashy strokes against the South African speedster. Just two runs off the over. Mumbai need 54 off 30 balls now.
14th over: Mumbai 83 for 3: Fourteen runs off the over and Mumbai's chase is back on track. First Pollard deposits White behind the ropes at long-on and then Rohit joins in with a four through the point region.
13th over: Mumbai 69 for 3. Pollard has announced himself with a huge pick-up six off Ankit Sharma. The West Indian rocks back and launches it over mid-wicket. This is building up into a close contest.
12th over: Mumbai 60 for 3. Rayudu succumbs to the pressure of mounting required run-rate. Mishra has his caught at fine-leg after a mis-time pull landed straight in Dhawan's lap.

11th over: Mumbai 57 for 2. The Deccan slow bowlers continue to make scoring difficult for the visitors as Rohit survives a close catch that eventually crossed the boundary. The pressure is well and truly on Mumbai.
10th over: Mumbai 49 for 2. It seems Sangakkara has figured out that only slow bowlers can help his side defend this small total. The Deccan skipper presses Cameron White into service now.
9th over: Mumbai 44 for 2. Rohit Sharma seems to have developed a liking for Christian, hitting the Aussie allrounder for another four to lead Mumbai's recovery after the visitors were reduced to 10 for 2 in the fourth over.
8th over: Mumbai 37 for 2. Amit Mishra has been brought into the attack. Quit noticeably, Rayudu and Sharma are looking to play conventional cricket, eliminating all the high-risk shots for the moment.
7th over: Mumbai 32 for 2. Anand Rajan has replaced Ankit Sharma and the medium-pacer has started off on a bright note, giving away just three runs. The ball is not coming onto the bat and the odd one is also keeping low. Scoring runs isn't easy out there.
6th over: Mumbai 29 for 2. Christian starts off by conceding 14 runs. The first ball was hit for a streaky four through the fine-leg boundary, followed by a six by Rohit off the last ball. Much needed runs for Mumbai.
5th over: Mumbai 15 for 2. Though a boundary has been hit by Rayudu in this over, Ankit Sharma has bowled another good one here, conceding just five runs off it. His spell so far reads 3-0-9-0.
4th over: Mumbai 10 for 2. Wicket maiden by Dale Steyn. Levi walks back. The South African shows his class with a telling yorker that zooms past Levi's defence to uproot his stumps.
3rd over: Mumbai 10 for 1. This is pressure bowling by Ankit Sharma, who keeps a lid on the scoring after an over that produced a wicket for the hosts. Just two runs off it. Mumbai under pressure here.
2nd over: Mumbai 8 for 1. A superb one-handed return catch by Steyn has removed Suman. The bowler sticks out his right hand out and the ball just sticks in Steyn's palm. Exactly what Deccan wanted after scoring just 138.
1st over: Mumbai 2 for no loss. Left-arm spinner Ankit Sharma has opened the bowling for Deccan. He keeps it tight, giving away just two runs. Richard Levi and T Suman are opening for Mumbai.
DECCAN CHARGERS INNINGS
20th over: Deccan 138 for 9. Another two-wicket over, and it was Pollard who came in to hurt the hosts this time with the wickets of Dale Steyn and Ankit Sharma and leave White stranded at 30 not out.
So Mumbai should have it under control with a target of 139, thanks to the four-wicket haul by Munaf Patel.
19th over: Deccan 130 for 7. Two wickets in the over by Malinga has seemingly ended Deccan's hopes of reaching 150. The Sri Lankan first bowls Ravi Teja and then has Amit Mishra caught at long-on.

18th over: Deccan 123 for 5. What a spell this has been by Munaf Patel, who dismisses Christian off the last ball of his spell to end up with figures of 4 for 20. But this knock of 39 by Christian has got Deccan out of the rut somewhat.

17th over: Deccan 119 for 4: Another six, this time by White, has turned this into a 10-run over for Deccan. He stays deep in his crease and hits a fullish Malinga delivery straight over his head and well into the stands.
16th over: Deccan 109 for 4. Runs have started to flow for Deccan now. This is the second consecutive over in which a six has been hit, the sufferer this time being Ojha as Christian sends a flatter delivery sailing over the sweeper cover. 13 runs have come off this over and Ojha is clearly having an off day.
15th over: Deccan 96 for 4. A six by White has spoiled Harbhajan's figures somewhat, but it's still a miserly spell by the Mumbai skipper, whose figures read 4-0-18. Top stuff from a top bowler.
14th over: Deccan 86 for 4. The hosts are now struggling after losing their skipper. It's looking increasingly difficult for them to reach 150 now, but Christian is still there and Cameron White can hit it big on his day.
13th over: Deccan 83 for 4. Sangakkara is walking back amid high drama here at Vizag. Harbhajan and Munaf pick an argument with the on-field umpires after they turned down a bowled appeal, saying the ball has ricocheted off the wicketkeeper's pads, But when the replay showed the ball clipped the off-stump before hitting the wicketkeeper's pads, Harbhajan and Munaf argued the decision, bringing the third umpire into play, after which Sangakkara was given out.

12th over: Deccan 80 for 3. The quiet spell has followed a 15-run over for Deccan, courtesy a six and a four by Christian and a skier being misjudged by Harbhajan Singh, which gives Christian a life. The gusty wind here is making life difficult for the fielders.
11th over: Deccan 65 for 3: Harbhajan has completed three overs now and with figures of 3-0-8-0, he has kept a lid on Deccan's scoring, though he would have liked a couple of wickets against his name as well.
10th over: Deccan 61 for 3. Sangakkara breaks the shackles with a four off Pollard, but the hosts are still a long way off from recovery after losing three quick wickets. Sangakkara is the key from here.
9th over: Deccan 55 for 3. Ojha is back into the attack and concedes just five runs after being taken apart for 18 in his opening over by Dhawan.
8th over: Deccan 50 for 3. Sangakkara has walked in to accompany Christian. Clearly, the hosts are in need of a recovery phase, and in Sangakkara they have a perfect man to do that job, but the rest of the batsmen have to support him.
7th over: Deccan 46 for 3. Malinga sends Dhawan back. The 24-ball blitzkrieg of the Deccan opener, which included four towering sixes, has ended with him falling prey to Malinga's change of pace. Dhawan's attempted flick catches the top edge and the skier was lapped up by Keiron Pollard.

6th over: Deccan 45 for 2. Big, big over to end the Powerplay for Deccan, 18 runs coming off Ojha's first over of the innings. Dhawan quite intentionally tries to get on top of Pragyan Ojha by greeting the left-arm spinner with a six off, then slog-sweeping him for another boundary and finally ending the over with his fourth six of the innings over mid-wicket.
5th over: Deccan 27 for 2: Malinga is into the attack now, but leaks nine runs to start his spell, including another well-timed six from Dhawan's bat. He is not holding himself back despite two early wickets.
4th over: Deccan 18 for 2 Munaf strikes again for Mumbai, removes Bharat Chipli now. Chipli tried to hit a ball from outside his off stump to over mid-on but could hit it only as far as Malinga. But an unperturbed Dhawan flicks Munaf for a six over the square-leg boundary to relieve some of the pressure.

3rd over: Deccan 9 for 1. This is top stuff by Mumbai. Harbhajan, bowling his second over, has once again given away just two runs. Deccan top order must be getting suffocated now.
2nd over: Deccan 7 for 1. A square-cut boundary by Dhawan follows Munaf Patel getting rid of Parthiv Patel, but it was more Parthiv giving a wicket to Mumbai. The Deccan opener guides the ball to first-slipper Rohit Sharma, who takes it on second attempt.

1st over: Deccan 2 for no loss. Mumbai skipper Harbhajan has opened the attack, giving away just two runs. Parthiv Patel and Shikhar Dhawan opening for Deccan. Getting a feeling that the hosts won't hurry into extravagant strokeplay and would want to keep the wickets intact for a final flourish.
7:30 p.m. Sangakkara wins the toss and Deccan Chargers will bat first. Two changes for DC. Daniel Harris has made way for Deccan's regular skipper Sangakkara and Anand Rajan has replaced Manpreet Gony.
One change in the Mumbai side from their last game. Suryakumar Yadav is out and Tirumalasetti Suman has come in, probably as an opener.
