Sony Smart Watch: Wear your smartphone on wrist

New Delhi: If you thought that there can be no connection whatsoever between your android smartphone and watch, then think again. Sony has launched its Smart Watch through which you can now control your android smartphone.

Sony’s Smart Watch is a wearable device that extends the power of user's android smartphones by sending information directly to the wrist.

The smart watch has a 1.3 inch OLED display that is used by the watch to notify users about the updates and event with the use of vibration and screen alert. 

With the Smart Watch, you will be able to see your latest inbox arrival, check the rain forecast, and even preview who is calling that too with the device buzzing in your pocket. 

Moreover, it also allows the users to send and read texts and emails as well as receive Facebook and Twitter updates all while the smartphone lies in the pocket.

It is through Bluetooth, the Smart Watch connects to Android smartphones and controls key functions of the device without the need of taking it out from pocket. 

The SmartWatch has just hit Sony’s retail stores at a price of USD 150, with interchangeable wristbands in white, blue, grey, green and pink. 

This latest gizmo from the stables of Sony will compete for space on your wrist with a number of other gadgets like Motorola’s Motoactv and Apple’s iPod Nano.
